Privacy Policy

1. Scope and who is responsible

This policy explains how KINCLUTCH, operated by Popquarry Productions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, handles personal information through the KINCLUTCH website, iPhone app and connected services (together, the “Service”).

KINCLUTCH is built for adults organizing birthdays and gifts. It lets a user record information about other people. The user who adds that information is responsible for doing so respectfully and lawfully.

2. Information kept on your device

The app’s main people and planning records are stored locally on your device:

If you choose Contacts access, the app lets you browse candidates and imports only the people you select. It does not upload your entire address book. If you choose Calendar access, the app reads events from only the calendars you select, reconciles possible birthdays on your device and never adds, edits or deletes a calendar event. Notification permission is used only to schedule reminders on your device. Gift ideas, prices, profiles and private notes are not included in the Watch snapshot.

3. Information processed by KINCLUTCH services

Connected features require limited server records. Depending on what you use, those records can include:

We use this information only to provide, secure, meter, restore and improve the Service; fulfill choices you make; prevent abuse; comply with law; and maintain accurate purchase entitlements. We do not use recipient information to advertise or market to the recipient.

4. Website information

The marketing website has no account form, contact form, advertising SDK or third-party analytics tag. It keeps a temporary event queue in the browser so interactions can be tested; the current site does not transmit that queue to an analytics company.

Like most hosted sites, the web host may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, time and security events in ordinary delivery and security logs. Those logs are used to operate and protect the site, not to advertise to you.

5. Gift Help and AI providers

Gift Help runs only when you start it. The KINCLUTCH service receives the request to enforce the budget and usage ceiling, complete the research, check evidence and deliver the result.

Before the research brief is sent to Anthropic or OpenAI, KINCLUTCH removes the recipient name, contact details, KINCLUTCH account identifier and private organizer notes. The minimized brief may include age, relationship, interests, dislikes, selected profile details, budget, general destination, deadline and exclusions. A one-way safety identifier may be supplied to prevent abuse.

Anthropic and OpenAI act as service providers for this requested work. Under their commercial API terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default unless the customer deliberately opts in; KINCLUTCH does not opt in. Provider security and abuse-prevention systems may retain limited request data under their commercial terms.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. KINCLUTCH uses a separate review step and checks cited retailer evidence before publishing a result, but you should confirm price, availability, fit, safety and delivery directly with the retailer before buying.

6. Private questionnaires

A questionnaire uses a long, random private link and stores only a hash of the secret token. The organizer chooses the recipient label, delivery method and expiration. KINCLUTCH does not send the message itself; the organizer chooses an available delivery route, shows a QR code, copies the link or completes it together.

Answers remain on the service until the organizer accepts or rejects them, revokes or deletes the questionnaire, deletes the person, or deletes the account. When an answer is accepted or rejected, the raw server copy of the answers is cleared. An expired link stops working even if the related audit record has not yet been deleted.

7. Payments, retailers and other providers

Apple processes App Store purchases. KINCLUTCH receives transaction and entitlement information needed to grant, restore, reverse or refund digital service access; it does not receive your full payment-card details.

When you open a retailer link, you leave KINCLUTCH. The retailer receives information your browser normally supplies and handles any search, checkout, payment, shipping, return and account information under its own privacy policy.

We may use hosting, security and infrastructure providers to operate the Service. They may process information only for contracted service purposes, subject to confidentiality and security obligations.

8. What we do not do

9. Retention and deletion

10. Access, export and deletion

Inside the app, Settings provides controls to:

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain or port personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; appeal a decision; or complain to a privacy regulator. We will verify a request before acting and will not discriminate against you for using a privacy right. Someone whose information was added by another user may use the current developer contact method published with the released app.

11. Legal bases for international users

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we process information to perform our agreement with the user, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where required for optional device permissions or processing. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers, subject to the safeguards required for the final production arrangement.

12. Children

KINCLUTCH is not directed to children under 13. Adults may keep a child’s birthday in their own local circle. A questionnaire for a person under 13 must be routed through a parent or guardian or completed together with the organizer; the app does not create a direct child invite. Do not use the Service to collect information from a child without the authority and consent the law requires.

13. Security

KINCLUTCH uses encrypted transport, authenticated customer requests, hashed questionnaire tokens, rate limits, purchase-signature verification, protected service credentials and encrypted persistent application state. No system can promise perfect security. If a breach creates a legally reportable risk, we will provide notice as required.

14. Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. If a change materially affects how app data is used, we will provide additional notice in the app or as otherwise required before the change takes effect.
